The VJ MAXx 2 was developed as a rugged all-around model for trail running, swimrun, and obstacle course racing. The new SuperFOAMance midsole provides more cushioning and energy return than the first-generation MAXx, while the RockPlate protects against sharp rocks. The Fitlock system keeps the midfoot stable on side slopes and technical sections. The Superior Contact outsole delivers the signature VJ grip on wet rocks, roots, and loose trails.
