This is the flagship model for trail runners who prioritize durability and support over extreme distances. The shoe features a sock-like fit with an integrated gaiter that keeps gravel and debris out. The upper is often reinforced with Matryx technology for increased durability and breathability, while the Quicklace lacing system ensures a custom-like fit without pressure points. Compared to other racing shoes, the S/LAB Ultra offers more generous cushioning to protect your feet on hard surfaces, while retaining the responsive feel Salomon is known for.

  • Drop: 8 mm (provides relief for the Achilles tendon and, over time, the calf).
